Doodles ahoy!

And now a set of my latest fandom habits.

First up, the BBC/BBCAmerica Victorian crime thriller, Ripper Street. I love thrillers and thrillers set in the age of Jack the Ripper featuring a chain smoking fish out of water, surly American, who everyone refers to as "That American or as the guy in suit, (his name is Reid), refers to him, "MY AMERICAN" is just hitting all the sweet spots for me. Oh, the American in question is named Homer Jackson, which sounds like such a late 19th century American name for an outlaw. (I swear, Reid treats Jackson like some barely housebroken pet. Okay, a barely housebroken pet who knows his way around a cadaver.) I love Jackson so much that I drew him again in black and white, about to do some forensic science, Victorian style. (Which means smoking around flammable liquids.)

Then there is Floki, the trickster type ship builder from the History Channel's show, Vikings. (He's the one holding the necklace.) If you follow this deviantart, then you know I have a soft spot for tricksters. Floki is no different. Vikings is such a great show even if everyone is psychotically violent. But, hey, what do you expect from a show about Vikings. A punch in the face is how they say, "Hello."

The rest? THE HOBBIT DOODLE-O-RAMA! Bofur is my favorite dwarf from the movie. I just love the design of him. He reminds me of The Flying Nun meets Pippi Longstocking. How can you not like that?

And as much as Bilbo complains, he's pretty unflappable as a traveling companion.
